Cremilda Macuácua was trained as a Media Manager, with experience in conducting audience research for media companies and served as Country Correspondence Coordinator for Mozambique at YALI TV. Cremilda holds a Bachelor degree in International Relations from The University of Dodoma, Tanzania.

She is a Master’s Student of Journalism and Media Studies at Rhodes University, South Africa. She is also a YALI Civic Leadership Alumna and African Union Youth Volunteer.

Over the years, Cremilda has been part of various research studies in sectors including nutrition, education, gender and climate change, sexual reproductive health, and maternal neonatal health by conducting data collection activities and monitoring & evaluating social projects in Mozambique.
