The interconnectivity and advanced capabilities that digital and physical infrastructure systems have provided to Africa’s infrastructure systems also poses an avenue of approach for the continent’s enemies to cripple production and economic power without having to fire a shot. To effectively protect Africa’s infrastructure and maintain our way of life the Government, Private Sector, and Academia need to work together and create resilient and hardened systems capable of withstanding threats from outside attacks and insider threats. The critical (Cyber/Digital and Physical) infrastructure that keeps Africa’s economy empowered, endear private sector assets, empowered co-protection mechanism of public facility with the deeper cooperation among the security paraphernalia is expected to support better interconnected and safety protocol to enable the continent to get out in front of our adversaries in cyber, physical and other supra-physical space.
