We are pleased to introduce our esteemed program faculty for the Canada-Africa Strategic Program (CASP) – a month-long series scheduled to take place in Ottawa and other Canadian mission locations from September 14-26, 2026.

The CASP will highlight different elements of the program, both interactive, research-based based and industry-curated. Our organizing team (lead faculty), training staff, panelists, moderators, curators, and hosts will work together to pilot a result-oriented task. These encompass the investment forum, interview studios, trade infrastructure, and import-export industry tours, along with other strategic business, diplomatic, and investment activities, corporate governance meetings for deal negotiations, industry-wide gatherings, and bilateral talks. These initiatives aim to strengthen cooperation with partners in Africa and around the world. The lead faculty are accomplished professionals who will play a crucial role in guiding our high-level sector and executive-focused events.

Our faculty aims to foster connectivity, professionalism, class, and tenacity, thereby enhancing our contributions to the entire nucleus of the Canada-Africa Strategic Programs (CASP). It includes industry leaders, academics, C-suite executives from various fields, professionals, and specialists in corporate governance.

The CAIP-RITLR series shall convene Interparliamentary Joint Committee Sessions, including the Africa Caucus and Africa-Canada Caucus, with a focus on sectors such as Agriculture and Food Security, Industrialization, Foreign Direct Investment, Trade Agreements, Treaties, Charters, Security (both National and Regional), Natural Resources, Energy, Immigration, Refugee issues, Manpower Development, Policy Reforms, and other vital areas to promote interparliamentary cooperation. Furthermore, the series will encompass workshops, paper presentations, inter-municipal exchanges, trade missions, deal negotiations, industry and business networking events, and discussions concerning investment portfolios.

This program and its related activities will highlight the importance of multi-sectoral clustering and strategic industry partnerships through joint efforts between parliaments to promote legislative co-creation in areas such as economic policies, bilateral missions, trade and investment facilitation, and market access. This initiative aims to develop a comprehensive, pan-Canadian and pan-African vision, focusing on inclusive industrialization, sustainable manufacturing, value chain development, and infrastructure funding via foreign direct investment opportunities. The ultimate goal is to support Africa’s structural transformation through sector integration, benefiting both regions.

As a consortium representing various industry sectors, the Africa Industrialization Group Inc. (AI-Group Inc. Holdings) will focus on fostering inter-parliamentary collaboration, encouraging growth in multi-industry, multi-sector, and market interfaces, and establishing a policy engagement framework through consulting and service delivery. This initiative aims to enhance public-private partnerships. Our commitment is to support Africa’s industrial development, strengthen Africa-Global cooperation, and expand efforts to promote sustainable Canada-Africa socioeconomic partnerships through various multilateral collaborations, including the African Union Commission, the AfCFTA Secretariat, regional economic communities, and multi-sector institutions.

Our objective is to advance trade liberalization and sector reforms by promoting collaboration among industry stakeholders, markets, and policy frameworks, thereby enhancing bilateral trade relations and diplomatic connections, ultimately benefiting both Africa and Canada. Furthermore, we aim to strengthen support for inclusive technology transfer, reverse engineering, enterprise reforms, market access, and brand development.
